~ Our Loving Savior ~
“I
love to tell the story—it will be my theme in glory!”
The World’s Most Important Story told from Scripture in
five parts: 1) God’s Greatest Gift, 2) The Spotless Lamb of God, 3) Our Divine Teacher, 4) Our
Loving Savior, and 5) The Lord of
Glory.
Jesus said, “The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke
19:10).
“Then they said to the woman, ‘Now we believe, not because of what
you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the
Christ, the Savior of the world’” (John 4:42).
Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for
his friends” (John 15:13).
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of
God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1
John 3:8).
“We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior
of the world” (1 John 4:14).
“And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts
2:21).
“Him [Jesus Christ—The Messiah] God has exalted to His right hand
to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins”
(Acts 5:31).
“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come
to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews
7:25).
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count
slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,
not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance”
(2 Peter 3:9).
“Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus … Then the Jews said, ‘See how He loved him!’”
(John 11:5, 36).
