The Prospects for Children of God ~
They
Will See The Lord
~ “Beloved,
now we are children of God; and it has
not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed,
we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him
purifies himself, just as He is pure” (1 John
3:2-3). “For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face
to face. Now I know in part, but
then I shall know just as I also am known” (1 Corinthians 13:12).
They
Will Be Like Christ
~ “Beloved,
now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be,
but we know that when He is revealed, we
shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him
purifies himself, just as He is pure” (1 John
3:2-3). “When He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints
and to be admired among all those who believe, because
our testimony among you was believed” (2 Thessalonians
1:10).
They
Will Dwell In The Father’s House
~ Jesus said, “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told
you. I
go to prepare a place for you. And if I
go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself;
that where I am, there you may be also” (John
14:2-3). “For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is
destroyed, we have a building from God, a
house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to
be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven” (2 Corinthians
5:1-2).
They
Will Be Manifested In Glory
~ “For
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory which shall be
revealed in us. For the earnest
expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility,
not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the
creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God”
(Romans 8:18-21).
They
Will Be Forever With The Lord
~ “Then
we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these
words” (1 Thessalonians 4:17-18).
Jesus said, “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the
prophecy of this book” (Revelation 22:7).
