~ Are You Fulfilling Your Triple Ministry? ~
Prolog ~ “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one
another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1
Peter 4:10).
In this post we look at: THE
TRIPLE ASPECT OF SERVICE.
Ministers
of God ~ “In all things we commend
ourselves as ministers of God” (2
Corinthians 6:4a).
“Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ” (1
Thessalonians 3:2a)
Ministers
of Christ ~ “Are they
Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I.
Are they the seed of Abraham? So
am I. Are
they ministers of Christ? — I speak
as a fool — I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in
prisons more frequently, in deaths often” (2
Corinthians 11:22-23). “Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a
faithful minister of Christ on your
behalf” (Colossians 1:7).
Ministers
of the Word ~ “We will give
ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry
of the word” (Acts 6:4). “I charge you
therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and
the dead at His appearing and His
kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in
season and out of season. Convince,
rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching” (2 Timothy 4:1-2).
