What Did the Apostle Paul Do? ~
A
Key Passage ~ “For I am already being poured out as a drink
offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have
fought the good fight, I have
finished the race, I have kept the
faith. Finally, there is laid up for me
the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to
me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing”
(2 Timothy 4:7-8).
Comment
~ Activity and works are meaningless unless
they are a result of faith in God. “Without
faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that
He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews
11:6).
The Key (not to be missed) ~ The obvious question arises: How does one
obtain a meaningful faith? “Faith
comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Time in the Word of God and honest searching
before Him develops our faith.
