~ How Is Your Vision? ~
We Would See Jesus (past—an
earnest desire) ~ “Now there were
certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. Then they came to Philip, who was from
Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, ‘Sir, we wish to see Jesus’” (John
12:20-21).
We Do See Jesus (present—an
open vision) ~ “But we see Jesus, who was made a little
lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor,
that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone” (Hebrews 2:9). “But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the
right hand of God, and said, ‘Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man
standing at the right hand of God!’” (Acts 7:55-56).
We Shall See Jesus (future—a
bright prospect) ~ “Beloved, now we
are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we
know that when He is revealed, we shall
be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1
John 3:2).
