~ Love Demonstrated ~
The
Father’s Love to His Son
~ Jesus said,
“As the Father loved Me, I also have
loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My
love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love” (John
15:9-10).
The
Son’s Love to His Father
~ Jesus said,
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep
My commandments, you will abide in My love, just
as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love” (John
15:9-10).
The
Son’s Love to His Brothers & Sisters ~
Jesus said, “As the Father loved Me, I
also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you
will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide
in His love” (John 15:9-10).
The
Saint’s Love For God ~ “For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I
came forth from God” (John 16:27).
The
Father’s Love to His Saints
~ “For the Father Himself loves you,
because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God” (John
16:27).
The Saint’s Love For Their Brothers & Sisters ~ Jesus
said, “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you;
abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just
as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I
have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be
full. This is My commandment, that you
love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than
to lay down one's life for his friends” (John
15:9-14).
Summary ~
Jesus said, “I do not pray for these
alone, but also for those who will believe
in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me,
and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that
You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may
be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made
perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have
loved them as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave
Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have
given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous
Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known
that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it,
that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them” (John
17:20-26).
“A new
commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that
you also love one another. By this
all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John
13:34-35).
