God Hates Sinners ~
Introduction
~ There is an often misunderstood
saying: God hates sin but loves the sinner.
In fact, that is the absolute truth.
In fact, God loves all sinners so deeply that He provided away to bring
each of us into His family as adopted children.
Scripture
~ “And as Moses lifted up the
serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man [Jesus Christ, the
Messiah] be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
eternal life. For God so loved the
world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world
to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but
he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:14-18).
You Can Be Adopted by God ~ There
is no sin or combination of sins which cannot be cleansed by the blood of Jesus
Christ. God loves you and wants to adopt
you into His family.
The New Relationship ~ “Behold
what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called
children of God! Therefore the world
does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it
has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is
revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies
himself, just as He is pure” (1 John 3:1-3).
