Allow God To Work In Your Life in 2024 ~
Will
you let (allow) God to do seven
important things in your life during 2024?
Peace ~
“And let the peace of God rule
in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
…
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” (Colossians 3:15, 17).
Strength ~ “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly
in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever
you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to
God the Father through Him” (Colossians 3:16-17).
Conformity ~ “Let this mind be in you which was also in
Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be
equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a
bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became
obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:5-8).
Character ~ “Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to
God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:5-7).
Conduct ~ “Let your conduct be without covetousness;
be content with such things as you have.
For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear. What can man do to
me?’” (Hebrews 13:5-6).
Testimony ~ “Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Alertness ~ “Let your waist be girded and your lamps
burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he
will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to
him immediately. Blessed are those servants
whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you
that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and
serve them” (Luke 12:35-37).
