~ What Are You Seeking In Your Life?
~
God—The
Son—Seeks Sinners ~ “Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, ‘Look, Lord, I
give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by
false accusation, I restore fourfold.’
And Jesus said to him, ‘Today salvation has come to this house, because
he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son
of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost’” (Luke 19:8-10).
God—The
Father—Seeks Worshippers ~ Jesus said to her [the woman at the Samaritan well],
‘Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain,
nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation
is of the Jews. But the hour is coming,
and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and
truth; for the Father is seeking such to
worship Him. God is Spirit, and
those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth’” (John 4:21-24).
What About You? ~ “And the Lord
said, ‘My Spirit shall not strive with man
forever” (Genesis 6:3a). “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is
near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on
him; and
to our God, for
He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:6-7).
