~ A Son ~
People Think
~ Jesus was “a son of God.”
The
Bible Says ~ Jesus
Christ was not “a” son of God. He is the
only divine Son of God! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world
to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John
3:16-17).
All other
children of God are adopted into the family!
“Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a
child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is
under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in
bondage under the elements of the world.
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born
of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons”
(Galatians 4:1-5).
“Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him
before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame
before Him in love, having predestined us to
adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure
of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved”
(Ephesians 1:3-6).
