~ Jesus Christ Is Able To Save
Completely ~
Passage
~ “There were many priests,
because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He [Jesus Christ], because He continues
forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
Therefore He is also able to save
to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives
to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:23-25).
Significance
~ “I thank my God upon every remembrance
of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for
your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of
this very thing, that He who has begun a
good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians
1:3-7).
“Therefore we
also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay
aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run
with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,
who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame,
and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:1-2).
Comment ~ When a person becomes a child of God they remain so forever… for eternity. Adopted into the family the Christian is now part of the household of faith.
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?”
(Matthew 16:15). This is the most
important question you will ever answer. If you do not answer it, or answer it
incorrectly, you have made the biggest mistake anyone can make!
