~ Jesus Christ Is Eternal ~
Passages
~ “In the beginning was the Word
[Jesus Christ], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was
in the beginning with God” (John 1:1-2).
“Jesus said
to them, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, before
Abraham was, I AM’” (John 8:58).
Significance
~ “Jesus Christ is the same
yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
Comment ~ Jesus Christ knows no time! Those who are adopted into the family of God have been given eternal life. Eternity future will never end! As the last stanza of that great hymn Amazing Grace so accurately states: When we’ve been there 10,000 years – with no less days to sing God’s praise! Where will you spend your eternity?
the key question:
“Who do you say that I am?”
(Matthew 16:15). This is the most
important question you will ever answer. If you do not answer it, or answer it
incorrectly, you have made the biggest mistake anyone can make!
