~ God’s Greatest Gift ~
“I
love to tell the story—it will be my theme in glory!”
The World’s Most Important Story told from Scripture in
five parts: 1) God’s Greatest Gift, 2) The
Spotless Lamb of God, 3) Our Divine
Teacher, 4) Our Loving Savior, and 5) The Lord of Glory.
“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a
Son, and shall call His name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14).
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;
and the
government will be upon His shoulder.
And
His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince
of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
“Then
the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings
of great joy which will be to all people.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is
Christ the Lord’” (Luke 2:10-11).
“And
she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew
1:21).
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has
sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him” (1
John 4:9).
“To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to
bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities” (Acts
3:26).
“That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His
grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:7).
“But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's
offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the
one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many” (Romans 5:15).
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
Jesus
said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John
3:16).
“But I have used none of these things, nor have I written these
things that it should be done so to me; for it would be better for me to die
than that anyone should make my boasting void” (1 Corinthians 9:15).
